Hood marker lights

When I installed the newer aerodynamic hood mirrors I was left with holes from the old bus-style mirror. I figured one day I would have to try my hand at some minor bodywork. One day I was looking through a catalog of truck parts. I noticed there were tons of styles and shapes of lights. I wonder if I could find some that would cover the holes? I found a set on Amazon that are actually made for motorcycles. They are triangular and fit the spot under the mirrors. The lights covered the holes nicely. I made a template so the other side would match. The installed lights. I hooked them to the marker light wires for the headlights. I thought about using them as turn signals. We'll see how I like these as marker lights. My HDT homepage
