Compartment Lights

The Volvo has large storage compartments under the dinette. One improvement they could use is better lighting. They have "click on, click off" lights but they are notoriously dim. I had some LED lights left over from my maplight project so I started pondering and decided to build my own lighting circuit. This is what I came up with. I mounted a pin switch (red arrow) where it could be easily accessed from the rear. The pin switch provides a ground for the light when the compartment door is open. I tapped power from the existing compartment lights. A simple project. My HDT homepage
