'Bird perch' antenna mount

When I was researching antenna mounting ideas one of the popular solutions on the trucking forums was called a 'bird perch' antenna mount. This stainless steel mount screws into metal as opposed to attaching to the plastic mirror like the stock Volvo mounting locations. I got a couple for $10/each on Ebay. The knurling makes a nice mounting surface for the bracket.
