Additional power port

My truck had a cigarette lighter plug and a blank for another power point. I guess the second power point is an option (?). When I had the dash apart for some projects I found a wired plug for a power point. It was taped up behind the dash. Over the years I've found this a lot. The wiring for an option is there...just not the actual item. Due to an impending voltage gauge installation I removed the power point from the overhead console and installed it in the spare dash location. It was plug & play.
